DPRK players Chae Kwang Jin and Kim Chol Gwang came first at the EJU Gyor European Open 2024.

The tournament, held in Gyor of Hungary, brought together more than 390 men and women players from at least 30 countries, including the DPRK, Germany, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

In the men’s 60kg category, Chae Kwang Jin defeated all the rivals and beat his rival of the Netherlands by ippon in the finals, winning a gold medal.

Kim Chol Gwang, who advanced to the finals of men’s 73 kg category after beating his rivals in the previous matches, defeated his French rival by ippon to take the first place.
