Principal Task He Indicated

On September 8, Juche 110(2021) the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un met and warmly congratulated the labour innovators and meritorious persons who participated in the celebrations of the 73rd founding anniversary of the DPRK at the office building of the Party Central Committee.

Among the attenders are scientists who greatly contributed to sci-tech development of the country.

After having a meaningful photo session with them the respected General Secretary warmly said that the labour innovators and meritorious persons who took part in the reception are precious comrades who our Party regards as the cornerstone and pillar of the state.

All the participants were moved to tears, receiving the great appreciation of the respected General Secretary.

After a while when the reception began, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un ensured that the members of the Political Bureau of the Workers’ Party of Korea Central Committee fill the toasts of the labour innovators and meritorious persons and summoned the scientists and technicians who participated in the reception.

Saying that the Party’s trust in and expectation for scientists and technicians are great, he stressed that the important thing in sci-tech research is to set the right seed and task of research.

And he added that it is the principal task facing the sci-tech research field to set as the research task the major policy tasks and to solve them one by one on an annual basis.

Looking up to the respected General Secretary who bestowed on them great trust, the scientists and technicians made a vow to carry out his instruction without fail.

Intention He Deeply Implanted

One October day of Juche 104(2015) the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un gave a field guidance to the Sci-Tech Complex nearing its completion.

Looking round the complex, he said with satisfaction and deep emotion as follows:

Our Party has lots of things to build and lacks in everything but builds to begin with the sci-tech research base, sci-tech dissemination base and the houses of scientists. In recent years three streets for scientists were built in Pyongyang Municipality as well as the modern sci-tech research bases. It is easier said than done to build such architectures within a few years.

And he added that it showed the determination and will of our Party to advance the revolution with science and technology as the locomotive.

Listening to the respected General Secretary, officials pictured the monumental edifices associated with the name of Scientists which were built under the benevolence of our Party.

When he looked round the scientists lodging house, he said that present is the era in which the scientists and technicians are put forward and, therefore, the family who has brought up eldest child as service personnel and the other as scientist should be regarded as a patriot family.

His saying that day makes us keenly realize his noble intention and will of giving priority to science and his ardent love for scientists.
