Precious Mind for Collective

Girl shock brigade members of the 3rd Platoon of the Morangbong District Battalion of the Pyongyang Municipal Brigade, the Paektusan Hero Youth Shock Brigade are beloved by all members of the battalion. It is because more of their beautiful traits than of their dogged work style, which is to think the comrades and collective before anything else.

Some time ago the battalion was left to conduct the work till late evening for carrying out the urgent task. The girl brigade members completed their task earliest of all and helped other backward platoon. The commanders of the battalion cajoled them in returning to their lodgings or scolded them; however, they never obeyed, saying that other platoon members were still working, so they would help them together.

They did many good deeds for comrades including laundering working clothes of other platoon members and nursing comrades suffering illness and so on.

By Pooling Efforts and Wisdom Together

It happened when the Ryanggang Provincial Power Distribution Station conducted the road construction project in Hyesan City.

Hyon Kang Guk and Ri Pom Jin, workers of the station, buckled down to manufacturing cutter on their own, but they faced lots of difficulties and failed many tests.

When they were discouraged other employees of the station including Pang Myong Bok came to them to encourage them, saying that nothing is impossible when they pool their efforts and wisdom.

Senior officials and other employees of the station also aroused their courage with aid materials.

Thanks to the care of the comrades they hardened their will to complete their work, so they found the cause of failure at last. When people congratulated them on their success, they said that they could succeed due to the help of grateful comrades.

Though They Do Different Work

The 1st workteam members of the Samwon Industrial Crop Farm of Songchon County often visit the builders of the county construction brigade with various kinds of vegetables and subsidiary foods and the brigade members help the farmers’ work sincerely.

The brigade members are engaged in construction of dwelling houses of the farmers.

The workteam leader Paek Myong Nam said that it becomes the ordinary affair in their mountainous village. In fact, they help each other and formed ties of kinship. On holidays the farmers and builders conduct the sports games together to rev up the atmosphere of the village.

The workteam reaped bumper harvest last year and the more new rural dwelling houses are showing their spectacular appearances from day to day.
