Soldier-builders in charge of the reclamation of Phyongwon Tideland in the DPRK successfully conducted the blasting of 200 000 cubic meter earth on Tuesday.

The successful blasting provided a guarantee for pushing ahead with the first watertight project as scheduled. The soldier-builders are now speeding up the embankment by ensuring full operation of excavators, hydraulic loaders and heavy trucks.

Thanks to their courageous efforts, the project for reclaiming the Phyongwon Tideland progresses at a fast tempo.
