Illuminations of Fountain Park

It was one May day in Juche 67(1978).

Passing by the fountain park of the Mansudae Art Theatre on that evening, Chairman Kim Jong Il saw to it that the car was stopped suddenly to look at the park for a while.

And then he asked accompanying officials if the park did not seem to be a little dark.

At the moment, the officials could reply nothing.

Because there were chandeliers in various places of the park and lamps emitting diverse lights.

Looking around the officials after a while, the Chairman told that people could not take photos at night with the then lightings.

And then he suggested installing more lightings for them to take photo there even at night, noting that the park should be arranged well lest the people should feel any inconvenience.

That day he personally inquired about the number and capacities of floodlights to be installed in the park.

The present illuminations are conveying the Chairman’s love for people.

Gladdest News

On the early morning of one April day in Juche 90 (2001), the Chairman visited a fish farm.

The tiered fish ponds laid in the vast farm were teeming with rainbow-trouts.

That day the Chairman looked at with pleasure the newly-built fish ponds and the neatly arranged farm like a park.

After a while, he expressed his satisfaction saying that the firm prospect would be opened to realize the desire of President Kim Il Sung who had been so concerned for providing our people with more fishes and continued:

Through this work, it was proved practically that the fish breeding was not only the very economic production with high profits but also the fastest method capable of fully providing our people with fresh-water fishes all the year round.

At that time, an official informed the Chairman that some rainbow-trouts were supplied to the people on the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, adding that the people who tasted the fishes were hardly repressing their gratitude to the Chairman’s love.

After listening to his report, the Chairman was so pleased and said that it was well done and the gladdest news, wearing a broad smile.

Looking up to him, the officials keenly felt again that the Chairman was gladdest when he heard the news that the people receive the benefit practically and feel delight.

Though Underground Treasure Is Valuable So Much

One May day in Juche 98(2009), the Chairman visited the Komdok Mining Complex.

While acquainting himself with the its conditions one by one, the Chairman was so pleased at the fact that the complex produced beans, vegetables and meats in number to supply them to its miners.

That day, he expressed special satisfaction at the miners’ life room in the Kumgol Mine.

After looking round the bath room and sudatorium, he wore a broad smile seeing various dishes set on the tables at the dining room for innovators.

At that time, an official told with pride about the successes made in the supply work.

Being informed about it, the Chairman said that it was very good and the miners would be glad.

And then he warmly instructed that even though the underground treasure is valuable so much, it can never be exchanged with the miners’ health, precious treasure of the Party and revolution.

Like this, our Chairman concerned first the workers’ health and their living conditions before the production in any unit he visited.

Therefore, all the people spoke highly that the Chairman’s whole life was one for the people.
