Performances were given by the participants in the Second People’s Art Festival in celebration of the birthday of Chairman Kim Jong Il, at the Pyongyang Grand Theatre, the Ponghwa Art Theatre, the East Pyongyang Grand Theatre and other places on Friday.

Among the audience were Kim Tok Hun, Choe Ryong Hae and Ri Pyong Chol, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and other senior officials of the Party and the government, Pyongyang citizens, youth and students.

The performers sang of the noble career of Chairman Kim Jong Il, who performed great exploits for the country and its people, through such numbers as story telling and song "Hear Emotion of That Day" and chorus "Greeting Spring on Jong Il Peak".

The audience was deeply impressed by such famous songs as "Glory to General Kim Jong Un" and "We Cannot Live without You" highly praising the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is dynamically steering Korean-style socialism to a new change and development.

The performers sang of the deep trust of the people in the great Party Central Committee which has been demonstrating the dignity and might of the DPRK before the whole world.

They vividly represented the truth that the future of the people is rosy as they hold the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un in high esteem at the helm of the Party and the revolution.

The performance reached the climax with such numbers as male chorus "Our Faith".
