A women’s football match between the Taedonggang Team and the Ryongaksan Team took place at the Kim Il Sung Stadium on Feb. 17 on the occasion of the significant February holiday.

Among the audience were Kim Tok Hun and Choe Ryong Hae, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and other senior Party and government officials, members of the National Sports Guidance Committee, officials in the field of sports, sportspersons, youth and students and working people from all walks of life.

At the match started with a kick-off of the Ryongaksan Team, both teams traded attacks and counterattacks.

The Taedonggang Team scored its first goal in the 11-meter penalty kick at around nine minutes of the match.

In the second half, the Taedonggang Team opened the score with a header by the player No. 17 at around 48 minutes and the player No.2 succeeded in scoring at around 77 minutes.

The Taedonggang Team beat the Ryongaksan Team 3:0 in the match.

The audience applauded the players who showed high football technique and noble playing morality.
