Evaluation Should Be Made by People

Whenever looking at a thing and creation, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un always says that evaluation should be made by people.

Several years ago a trial operation of new-type tram was conducted in the presence of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

During the operation the respected General Secretary examined the mechanical noise of the tram and appreciated that the tram was made well.

Feeling ashamed for the undeserved appreciation, an official said that they could make the tram well as they followed the design sent by the respected General Secretary.

Saying that the manufacturers of the tram were our working class, he repeatedly appreciated that they made new-type tram well with painstaking efforts. And he added that the evaluation of the tram should be made by people.

If people love it, it is a good thing; if dislike, a bad thing – this is a lifelong motto taught by the respected General Secretary that day which all the officials should keep deep in mind.

That day the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un stressed that it is our Party’s intention to pick up even a star if it is desired by the people.

Looking up to the respected General Secretary, the officials made a firm pledge to regard the voice of people as the most fair evaluation and serve the people faithfully.

Convenience of People He Considered First

Give top priority to the people’s interests and convenience and hold them absolute!

This is the starting point for the respected General Secretary’s thought and activity which he regards as ironclad in the course of his revolutionary leadership.

Several years ago the respected General Secretary looked round the nocturnal streets of Pyongyang time and time again.

The streets of the capital city which sang the prosperity of Pyongyang were ornamented with various kinds of colorful light decoration. They, indeed, seemed a fairyland.

After learning about the light decoration in the capital city, he summoned some officials one day.

Saying that lots of public buildings, catering buildings and high-rise apartment buildings were decorated with lamplights, he revealed that the residents living in apartment buildings would feel inconvenience if the lights were turned on all night. And he stressed that the decoration lights should be turned on till necessary time.

The officials were impressed by his loving care for people.

They deeply kept in their mind his noble intention that nothing is more important than the interests and convenience of people.
