Precious Factory of Mountainous County

The Sinyang County Disabled Soldiers’ Koryo Medicine Factory is not a big one with only dozens of employees.

But, the factory is well-known among many people for positively contributing to the promotion of the people’s health by producing various kinds of medicines.

In fact, a few years ago the goods produced by the factory failed to gain popularity among the inhabitants of the county and province.

One day its officials heard the voices of the people full of worries saying that formerly there had been many Koryo medicines good for health but it was hard to find such medicines at that time.

The officials were determined to surely make goods favoured by the inhabitants with their own efforts.

Thus, they buckled down to making new products on the basis of the experience they had gained in manufacturing Koryo medicines before.

After that the officials and employees visited the pharmaceutical factory associated with the sacred footprints of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un to widen their mental horizon and vigorously put spurs to developing new medicines by dint of advanced science and technology.

In those days, the goods produced by the factory have become popular among the people with each passing day.

Young People, Pride of Farm

The youth work-team of the Unha Farm in Onchon County was organized with the young people from Nampho Municipality who volunteered to work at difficult sectors several years ago.

From the first day in the farm, they began their daily work after making a firm pledge before the mosaic depicting the image of President Kim Il Sung to discharge their duties as masters of the farm.

Striving to learn the farming work as early as possible by keeping that day’s determination, they grew up year by year.

One day when they were working hard at the farm field, an urgent condition was created in which the crops might be submerged due to an unexpected flood.

At that time, all of them threw themselves into water shouldering the straw-bags of earth shouting that one hesitating to devote himself to such a trifle has no competence to be called youth of the country.

They donated a large amount of grains out of patriotism last autumn and thus had a great honour of receiving thanks from the 9th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

Therefore, officials and farmers said unanimously that as there are such reliable young people who have devoted their patriotic sweats to the country and farm in their youthful days, socialist farm fields have been growing richer day by day.

Regarding It As Due Duty

It happened one day in late January at the work-team No.3 of the Taegok Stockbreeding Farm in Sepho County.

That day the work-team members found their head Rim Yong Ho coming and going along the fields with a more serious look than ever before.

It was strange for them to see him writing something in his pocket book while looking round one by one the compost heaps of each field.

They could know that reason in the evening.

Rim’s work-team was highly appreciated in the result reviews of compost production held in the day before, but others failed to do so.

So, he was determined to send the over-produced compost to other work-teams.

But he could hardly open his mouth before his work-team members.

Being informed of the reason, they complied willingly saying that they should not disregard it as it was also the farm’s work.

That evening, the work-team members worked hard for a long time to send dozens of tonnes of compost to the other work-teams.
