Meetings and seminars took place in Nepal, Thailand, Norway, Denmark, Bulgaria, Austria, Italy, Spain, France, Finland and DR Congo to mark the significant February holiday, birthday of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Speeches were made at the events attended by political and social figures and masses of relevant countries.

The general secretary of the Central Committee of the Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) and the chairman of the Nepal Journalist Association said that the country’s military muscle was firmly consolidated and the sovereignty and dignity of the DPRK firmly defended by Comrade Kim Jong Il.

The honorary chairman and the chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association and the chairman of the Finnish National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea praised Kim Jong Il as an extraordinary thinker and theoretician, outstanding statesman, great revolutionary, defender of justice and peerlessly great man.

The chief of the Bulgarian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, the general secretary of the Movement for Peace and Socialism of Italy and other participants in seminars praised Kim Jong Il’s revolutionary career, adding that the exploits he performed in demonstrating the dignity of the DPRK as an independent state and socialist fortress will shine more brilliantly thanks to Comrade Kim Jong Un.

The chief and members of the Madrid Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in Spain lauded H.E. Kim Jong Il as the staunch defender of socialism, prominent state leader and peerlessly elder statesman.

Members of the Vienna Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in Austria said that H.E. Kim Jong Il is the greatest man and a model statesman in his idea, leadership and traits. The general secretary of the Society for the Promotion of the Relations between Austria and the DPRK noted that under the leadership of H.E. Kim Jong Un the DPRK is reliably defending the sovereignty and peace of the country despite the vicious moves of the hostile forces.

The chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of DR Congo said that the august name of leader Kim Jong Il who performed great exploits for mankind will shine long with the century.

Congratulatory messages to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events held in Denmark and Spain.
