At Academy of Forest Science
Scientists of the Academy of Forest Science, deeply aware of the importance of their duty in implementing the Party’s new policy on developing regional industry, have turned out as one.
According to the organizational work of the non-permanent central committee for promoting Regional Development 20×10 Policy the academy dispatched its able scientists to 20 cities and counties selected for this year’s regional industrial factory construction and saw to it that they grasped in detail the situation of forests for raw materials.
On this basis, the scientists, in close collaboration with officials of relevant regions, have carried out intense researches for fixing acute plans for creating forests for raw materials in a more rational way.
Thanks to their devoted efforts, scientific and technical programs for creating the forests for raw materials like oil, paper and wild fruits in accordance with the regional characteristics were drawn up.
Not resting on the laurels, the academy carries out the creation of various multimedia programs with high cognitive or educative effect at the final stage in order to help officials and working people in the cities and counties to buckle down to the afforestation actively with enough knowledge of scientific and technical requirements.
Meanwhile, it is promoting the work to update the Hwanggumsan creation decision support system.

At Daily Necessities Institute under Academy of Light Industry
The scientists in the Daily Necessities Institute have launched a vigorous campaign of brains and creation.
With the enthusiasm for upholding the Party’s intention of prioritizing the life of regional people and development of the region with practical scientific achievements, officials of the institute, in close cooperation with the relevant regions, are carrying forward on a full scale the work to assign the index of living necessities production in a rational way according to the characteristics of the regions concerned as well as their economic potentials, development prospectiveness, popularity and demands, and to map out technical plan accordingly.
Meanwhile, in concert with correlated units, they strictly reviewed the technical tasks for construction of daily necessities factories submitted by the 20 cities and counties mentioned above and amended and supplemented them in a responsible way.
Thus, the preparations for building daily necessities factories to be built in the cities and counties are carried forward step by step in succession.
Besides, they responsibly consider counterplan to modernize the production lines of regional industrial factories in Kimhwa County to carry out the tasks set forth by the respected General Secretary
At the same time, they solve scientific and technical problems for the regional industrial factories which will be built in cities and counties on a higher level than those in Kimhwa County.
