Immutable Course of Development

One October day, Juche 108(2019) the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited Samjiyon City which was being built as an ideal mountainous city for people in the area of Mt Paektu.

Warmly encouraging the builders who lead a worthwhile life with fighting spirit of fortitude despite the difficult environment to uphold the Party’s grandiose plan of construction, he said that he felt again that there is neither fortress unconquerable nor difficulty insurmountable when he believes in and relies on the inexhaustible strength of the masses rallied behind the Party.

Indeed, the inexhaustible strength of people rallied closely behind the Party is just the eruption of firm faith of our people and service personnel who kept as the eternal truth that the road indicated by the respected General Secretary is precisely the one of victory and glory and there is no fortress unconquerable on the road of following his leadership.

That day he, saying that we should neither want help from anyone nor lend an ear to any temptation, stressed that we should choose the prosperity based on our own efforts only as the immutable road of development and keep holding higher the banner of self-reliance as we do now.

His saying deeply moved the officials.

The world witnessed once again the unshakable will of the respected General Secretary to regard self-reliance as a treasured sword for prosperity, a spirit which has always been a banner of struggle and driving force for a leap forward in the whole course of the Korean revolution.

High Appreciation

One June day of Juche 105(2016) the respected General Secretary visited the remodeled Pyongyang Cornstarch Factory (PCF) despite the rainy weather and looked round various places of the factory.

After learning in detail about the modernization and production of the factory he dropped in at the newly-built general analytical laboratory.

He said that the laboratory fully convinced him that the PCF was a national frontline unit. Adding that he was informed that during its reconstruction the PCF mostly fitted out its analytic laboratory with homemade analytic equipment, he spoke highly of it. He affirmed with great joy that it was a very good thing for the PCF to make for itself the analytical equipment.

And he stressed that not only production facilities but also all other machines like analytical equipment should be made at home as the PCF did and that this was the idea and plan of our Party.

That day he gave high appreciation that the factory was holding high the banner of Juche-orientation, calling it a model in creating the spirit of self-reliance and self-development and the one teaching how to carry out modernization.

Indeed, the high appreciation of the respected General Secretary implies the noble intention that we should achieve development of our style with our own strength and technology.
