The State Musical Instrument Research Institute newly produced the kayagum conducive to the early education of national music.

Officials and researchers of the institute intensified research for manufacturing the kayagum appropriate to the early education of children so that they can reduce physical exhaustion.

The researchers deeply thought and discussed to define the size of the kayagum most appropriate to children.

Then they made tests for scientifically ensuring intervals and thickness of strings.

Whenever they faced difficult and complex problems, the leading official of the institute encouraged the researchers saying that it is the greatest honor and glory to provide the children whom the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un deeply loves with the kayagum.

So the researchers made further strenuous efforts and completed the new kayagum thanks to the unselfish helps from officials of various education organs.

The research institute continues to intensify the scientific researches important for development of national music.
