Discrimination Should Be Developed

 

Yohae Senior Middle School is in mountainous Popdong County.

However, it takes lead among the rural schools in the county for its teachers’ quality and average level.

The officials of the school have put big efforts into raising the level of the teachers and pupils.

Looking at the pupils who had been relatively passive in asking questions during their lessons, Choe Il Nam, headmaster of the school, decided to widen the discrimination of the teachers and pupils in order to make them active studiers and inquirers who are eager to learn burning with curiosity. Therefore, he often organized field trip and study tour in close connection with supporters.

In the course of study tour of the units and regions associated with the Party’s leadership the pupils could know their region better and keep in their minds the affection for it while the teachers gained rich experience of actual life and added vivid data to their teaching materials.

In addition, the teachers looked round urban schools to positively introduce superior experiences.

New teaching methods have been created and generalized in the school this year, in the wake of last year.

 

Although It Takes Less Trouble

 

Kingol Senior Middle School in Rangnang District is situated in a rural area.

But most of its teachers are able to undertake the education of a higher rank and upwards and a considerable number of them prepared themselves for teaching more than two different major subjects.

It is the outcome of the school’s efforts which inspired the teachers actively join the tele-educational networks of different universities and colleges including Kim Il Sung University and universities of education.

What the school paid major attention to was provision of a condition for tests during the tele-educational course.

It arranged a tele-testing room as a reserve in connection with the tele-educating universities with the aid of the district officials.

It took a month but it didn’t take much trouble.

Therefore, the teachers could apply for examinations in time without hindrance to their teaching and it was convenient for their study.

At present, the teachers who finished the tele-educational course of various universities are displaying their abilities to the full.
