Women’s union officials and members from across the country had sports and amusement games at the Taekwon-Do Hall here from March 6 to 8 to mark the 114th International Women’s Day.

Officials and members of the women’s union from all provinces competed in volleyball, badminton, yut-game and other events.

The finals in each sports event took place on March 8.

Among the audience were Ri Ju Myong, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Kim Jong Sun, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women’s Union of Korea, and officials and members of the women’s union.

Colorful amusement games, held amid the enthusiastic cheering of women’s union members, revved up the festive mood.

Pyongyang Municipality came first in the total standings.
