They have directed big efforts to newly developing the sintering technology of diamond-hard alloy composite material and introducing it into manufacturing the truing diamond badly needed in grinding the machined parts.
They made new sci-tech proposals capable of improving the quality of the truing diamond much more than the previous one and conducted the research on dozens of preceding data for its realization.
And they modernized the super high-pressure hydraulic press and further completed the necessary technical progresses while settling the raw materials and materials on their own and carrying on the step-wise researching goals steadily.
The research has been vigorously propelled to introduce the new method of manufacturing the diamond grindstone by resin binder into various production units including the Kumsong Tractor Factory.
On the basis of increasing the bond strength and hardness of the diamond, they have pushed ahead with the research for establishing a process on our own style badly needed for manufacturing the diamond grindstone by the resin binder.
Besides, the work has been promoted on a full scale to develop various kinds of diamond cutting tools necessary for building materials production and stone processing so as to introduce them into various sectors of the national economy.
With Will to Bring About Definite Results
Scientists of the Composite Material Institute of Kim Chaek University of Technology, too, have put spurs to the research with the will to switch over the advanced technical research tasks to the vivid entities.
On the basis of experience and technology gained in establishing on trial the process of producing permanent magnet by the rare-earth element, one of the essential materials indispensable for production, they have recently promoted the research for establishing the production process of rare earth permanent magnet necessary for various electric motors and generators including electric motor of elevator.
After setting the goal for establishing its production process amounted to several tons in annual production capacity by pooling their creative wisdom and zeal with each other, they have propelled as planned the works such as installing and operating various up-to-date production equipment and mass-producing the high-powered magnetic goods, etc.
Meanwhile, they have made substantial progress in the research for developing the practical cutting tools.
And the works are being conducted actively to develop the injector nozzle demanded by various sectors including production units of dairy goods as well as improving the special character of materials needed in making artificial pulmonary organ.
