In September Juche 109(2020), the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the seat village of Kangbuk-ri in Kumchon County.

Looking round the village delightedly, he gave precious instructions to officials to carry out the socialist rural construction as the important national policy.

Listening to him who made the most innovative and bold decision for solving the socialist rural issue, an official expressed his burning resolve to map out a rural construction plan and actively promote it.

Then the respected General Secretary said that the whole Party should increase model ris in cities and counties and further expand the work to creating model counties, indicating that a model county is the one whose working people are fully equipped with the revolutionary idea of our Party and its overall work including the educational work are carried out well.

Remarking that with the issue of feeding alone, a county cannot be estimated, he said that he would not recognize it as a model county if it failed to build school facilities on a reasonable level although it raised good crops.

In other occasions, the respected General Secretary referred to the importance of the education.

In July several years ago, he told officials to regard the educational work as an important criterion for estimating a province saying that every province should establish a trait of prioritizing the education.

His instructions reflect his unshakable will to develop the overall education of the nation onto a higher level, and thus guarantee the bright future of the motherland by putting big efforts into the development of education with deep attention in all parts of the country.

In the important policy speech at the 10th Session of the 14th Supreme People’s Assembly (SPA) of the DPRK, pointing out poor educational level and environment in the regions, he mainly stressed to develop rural schools and other regional educational institutions.

True to the noble will of the respected General Secretary, every region across the country prioritizes the education while remarkably raising the quality of education and improving the educational condition and environment.
