The following happened on October 15, Juche 108(2019) when the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un guided the construction of the then Samjiyon County People’s Hospital at the spot.

Arriving at its construction site that day, he expressed his satisfaction with the fact that the construction was being progressed in its final stages.

While giving precious instructions to build everything without slight shortcomings looking round the construction site, he said that the hospital should be equipped with modern medical facilities and that the Party would be entirely responsible for the provision of modern medical equipment needed in the hospital.

After telling officials that they should make full preparations for beginning the medical service to the people without delay if the hospital would open, the respected General Secretary noted that the hospital took his fancy most, continuing with pleasure that such hospital might not be found in Hyesan and Chongjin cities and Rason Municipality.

Looking around the officials wrapped in great excitement, he said that its construction was a project of his great concern, earnestly remarking that to build the hospital pleased him more than other building projects in the township area of Samjiyon.

That day the respected General Secretary said that building the hospital was the best worthwhile doing and then he told officials that the Samjiyon County People’s Hospital should be completed as soon as possible, thus boasting of it before the world that there is a splendid hospital in our country, too.

Now the hospital tells that the assets for the people’s happiness are increasing day by day on this land thanks to the warm care of the respected General Secretary.
