The production of school uniforms, shoes and bags for the new pupils and students of primary schools and universities in the DPRK was in the main completed thanks to the efforts of officials and working people across the country.

Officials of the Cabinet, different ministries and national agencies and all provinces worked out plans for the production of school uniforms, shoes and bags and carried on the operation and guidance while giving priority to ensuring the supply of techniques and materials.

The relevant institutions have given priority to calculating the number of pupils and students and conducting their body measurement for the production and supply of school uniforms for the new year before finishing the national statistics on the sizes of school uniforms in a short span of time.

Employees of the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill finished the production of uniform cloth in January.

The Pyongyang Rayon Factory, Sinuiju Textile Mill, Sariwon Textile Mill, Haeju Textile Mill and other factories have introduced various ideas and rationalization plans and generalized good experience to improve the quality indices of uniform cloth.

Officials and workers in the field of footwear industry made innovations in the production of seasonal shoes suited to the characteristics of each school and school boys and girls.

Officials and working people of the bag production units have also improved the quality of products while generalizing the advanced successes and experience.

The achievements made by the units producing school uniforms, shoes and bags add pleasure to the whole country before the new school year.
