A national symposium in the field of biotechnology took place on March 20 and 21 under the co-sponsorship of the Korean Biotechnology Society and the Korean Biology Society of the C.C., General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.

Present there were officials, scientists and technicians from Kim Il Sung University, University of Sciences, the Bioengineering Branch of the State Academy of Sciences and other units.

The symposium heard valuable proposals made by scientists and technicians with a resolve to develop the country’s livestock farming by dint of science and technology. And there was a question-and-answer session.

Suggestions conducive to increasing the productivity of bio-feed additives won a high appreciation there.
