A national symposium in the field of poultry took place at the Poultry Feed Institute of the Academy of Poultry Science from March 27 to 29, under the sponsorship of the Korean Poultry Association of the C.C., General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.

Present there were officials, scientists and teachers of the Poultry Feed Institute under the Academy of Poultry Science, Pyongyang University of Agriculture and other units.

The symposium was held in such a way as to find a realistic solution through earnest discussion over the achievements made by scientists in the field of poultry in the course of their painstaking thinking and research for establishing Korean-style poultry breeding and management methods.

There was a video show dealing with a new growth promoter for duck fattening, developed at the Tudan Duck Farm.

At the symposium, certificates were awarded to the participants who presented excellent proposals.
