The national martial art championships for the 2024 Spring National Sports Festival began in the DPRK on Friday.

The championships brought together more than 530 excellent players, coaches, students and teachers selected from Taekwon-Do teams, Paduk teams of the Paduk Centre, Korea University of Physical Education and other units across the country.

Taekwon-Do, Wushu, Korean chess, paduk and other events will be held at the Taekwon-Do Hall, the Taekwon-Do Holy House and the Pyongyang Gold Lane.

That day, there were Korean chess and paduk individual matches.
