The officials and working class of the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex make great results in the drive for increased production of iron and steel.

According to data available, they increased the production of pig iron 1.6 times and the rolled steel 1.4 times as against last year during the first quarter period. Then they put big spurs to the drive for the increased production in April, too.

The complex finds the key to the increased production in prioritizing science and technology and strives to improve the technical knowledge and skills of officials, workers and technicians of the relevant units while ensuring the full operation of equipment.
