Amid a series of housewarming celebrations across the DPRK, new villages reflecting the Workers’ Party of Korea’s people-first idea of architecture have appeared at the Changthae Livestock Farm in Hoeryong City of North Hamgyong Province.

The new modern houses, designed to match the surrounding landscape, are a cradle of happiness provided under the warm care of the great Party Central Committee which set the housing construction, welcomed by the people, as the primary major policy and is cultivating the beautiful future of rural civilization.

A meeting for moving into those new houses took place on the spot on Friday.

Present there were Kim Yong Hwan, chief secretary of the North Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the WPK, officials of the Party and power organs in the province and Hoeryong City, officials and builders of the units which contributed to the construction and agricultural workers.

Pak Myong Ho, chairman of the provincial people’s committee, made a congratulatory address.

Then licenses for the use of houses were conveyed and speeches were made.

Amid the display of cheerful dancing, moving into new houses began. Officials of the Party and power organs visited the owners of new houses to share joy with them.
