Measures He Took on the Spot

 

One January day in Juche 107(2018), the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited Pyongyang Teachers Training College.

Going round various places of the college that day, he gave precious instructions and dropped in at a large room.

It consisted of an office room arranged like a multi-function learning space enabling to hold education scientific discussion, and an education control room.

An official of the college explained to him in detail about the introduction of modern educational technologies into educational method of multi-function classrooms and the fact that the method of putting all the educational work on a scientific basis would be discussed in the education control room.

Listening to the official’s explanation with care, the respected General Secretary said to her that the university should give students excellent education and then he, all of a sudden, asked her if the primary school teachers in service were versed in the modern educational technologies.

The moment she hesitated how to reply to him, because she had paid attention to students, not to the primary school teachers.

After a while, the respected General Secretary stressed the need for Pyongyang Teacher Training College and others to formulate the system for reeducating teachers in service and to operate the superior education system like reeducation and tele-education systems for teachers so as to improve their quality continuously.

Receiving his instructions, accompanying officials kept in their mind the noble intention of the respected General Secretary to make education the reliable one for our future.

 

Issue on IT Study He Was Deeply Concerned for

 

It happened one July day in Juche 105(2016) when the respected General Secretary went round an information technology study room in Pyongyang Middle School for Orphans.

The sturdy room was the place for the orphans to get the computer education.

While looking around with satisfaction the study room fully equipped with facilities and teaching aids and furnishings, the respected General Secretary acquainted himself with the state of the computer education and gave detailed instructions on the issues arising in the IT study.

And he indicated one by one such issues as setting up the homepages of Pyongyang primary and middle schools for orphans, exchanging the successes and experiences gained in education of the orphans and management of the schools with each other and making schools follow them and carrying the successes and experiences on the homepages in time to make all the schools share and use the data.

That day, accompanying officials kept in mind again how great his trust in and expectation for the orphans are.
