An oratorical meeting of officials and members of the Socialist Women’s Union of Korea (SWUK) took place at the Hall of Women on Tuesday amid the growing loyalty and patriotic enthusiasm of all the women across the country to support and uphold the new regional development policy of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK).

Present there were Kim Jong Sun, chairwoman of the SWUK Central Committee, and women’s union officials and members.

The speakers expressed thanks and reverence for the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who set forth the great programme for developing the regional industry.

The Regional Development 20×10 Policy of the Party is a crystal of love formed by the cherished desire of the great father to make all those living on this land lead an affluent and highly civilized life under the socialist policy of the state, they stressed.

They said the new regional development policy is an immortal revolutionary programme that can be set forth only by the General Secretary who regards the happy laughter of the people and the younger generation as a symbol of the socialist system and a yardstick of determining the position of a powerful country.

The monumental edifices on this land, including flourishing socialist living spaces in Pyongyang and modern rural dwelling houses in the provinces, are associated with the ardent love of the WPK for the people, they said, calling upon all the women’s union members to devote their loyalty and patriotic efforts to the country’s prosperity.
