Employees of the Mangyongdae District Floriculture Station cultivate various species of flowers.

In hearty response to the intention of the Workers’ Party of Korea to improve the afforestation and greening, the officials and employees of the station including Manageress Kim Jong Im strove to put the flower production on a higher sci-tech basis.

In those days, they made successes in the work for making the flowers open bigger and more beautifully by introducing the fertilizer capable of boosting the output of flowers and making and using the nutrient solution by themselves, thus taking the lead in the cultivation of flowers.

Even now they devoted their patriotic mind to suffusing the capital city with the fragrance of flowers.
