Measures He Took over Again

One August day in Juche 101(2012) the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un inspected a livestock institute for good breed of a general stock farm.

When he watched the video showing the sci-tech research successes achieved by the institute he, all of a sudden, asked officials how the institute accepted the sci-tech data.

Being informed about the actual situation from officials, the respected General Secretary said that the main in the scientific research is to disseminate the new technology and the scientific research institutions should conduct the dissemination of new technology well.

Noting that the dissemination system of the sci-tech data should be established in the institute, he took measures for it.

After clearing up the problem which the researchers had been so impatient, the General Secretary also acquainted himself with the experimental facilities.

And then he inspired the official to inform him of demands for the facilities, as he would provide all necessaries, and he called for arranging the institute on the highest level.

Looking up to the General Secretary, the officials were wrapped in deep emotion.

Because he took benevolent measures over and over again so that the institute can make a leap higher and faster by dint of science and technology while paying deep attention to the country’s livestock farming development.

Indeed, implied in his instructions was the great expectation that the institute would put the country’s livestock farming on a world level as soon as possible so as to improve the people’s life, holding fast to science and technology as precious sword.

Samjiyon-style Farming Method Should Be Created

One October day in Juche 107(2018), the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un inspected the Samjiyon Potato Farina Production Factory.

That day he gave detailed instructions while looking round various places of the factory and told about the potato production of the then Samjiyon County.

At that time, the county was following the farming method of Taehongdan County instead of researching and introducing the potato farming method suited to the natural and geographical conditions and climate condition of Samjiyon County.

As a result, the county, which is located in higher place than Taehongdan County and has clayey soil, could not ensure the accumulated temperature and growth term of crops.

The General Secretary said that the county should not follow the potato farming method of Taehongdan County in an imitative manner.

Then he instructed that in order to raise good crops, the county should improve the soil, raise the rate of mechanization in potato farming, ensure the scientific accuracy in store and production of potato seed as well as produce and introduce good strains of seed.

The General Secretary said that Samjiyon County should produce many good strains of potato seed and actively introduce them to potato farming and create the Samjiyon-style farming method.

Indeed, his teaching was a precious instruction which enabled Samjiyon City to achieve rapid and successive progress in potato farming at present and in the future, too.
