The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Pae Chang Ho, a grandfather living in people’s neighborhood unit No. 12 in Sonryong-ri, Pongsan County of North Hwanghae Province, on his 100th birthday.

Born into a poor family before the liberation of the country, Pae keenly experienced the sorrow of a stateless nation. He has led a worthwhile and proud life in the genuine people’s country built by President Kim Il Sung.

With a resolve to repay the great benevolence of the Party and the state, he devoted his sincere conscience and efforts to agriculture for decades and brought up his children to be excellent at important posts for national defence and socialist construction.

Officials of the Pongsan County Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea visited his family and shared joy with him, asking him about his health and living conditions.

Hardly repressing great excitement, he expressed his deep gratitude to Kim Jong Un.

Saying that the socialist system in the DPRK is the best in the world as doctors routinely visit him to look after his health and everyone helps one another in a great harmonious family, he asks his children to do more work for the country.
