By Positively Awakening Emulation Enthusiasm

The Kyongsong Electric Appliances Plant is briskly conducting the mass-based art activities by positively arousing the emulation enthusiasm of the masses.

In the past the plant waged the art activities with only artistic talented persons.

So, some workshops laid stress on only the production and neglected the art activities.

Officials of the plant got lessons from there and encouraged the mass-based art activities by each workshop, while replenishing the workshops with various musical instruments including accordions, oungums and drums.

Under such enough conditions, the plant often organizes the art group contests by the workshops.

Thus its employees have participated in the art activities to sing songs and play musical instruments after daily work.

All the workshops pooled the creative wisdom for putting the characteristic works on the stage.

In particular, a workshop created the excellent work representing the history of the plant associated with the leadership exploits of the Party, touching the hearts of the employees.

Recently, the plant is disseminating the new song "Dear Father" in praise of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

Even now the plant is positively waging socialist emulation for making new innovation through the regular mass-based art activities.

Operation of Literary Group in Substantial Way

Kilju County conducts the mass-based literary production activities in conformity with its reality. The county organized the literary group 10-odd years ago and has achieved many successes.

The members of the literary group in Kilju County have turned their talents into full bloom during the activities; some of them have grown up as writers.

The county has set up the orderly system in order to vigorously conduct the literary group composed of different members of various ages and jobs.

Its members gather at the county culture hall once 10 days to learn the Juche-oriented literary theory of our Party and read their works in turn for joint review.

Through the gathering they learn what is important in creation of work reflecting the spirit of times.

And they create various works including poems and essays portraying their thoughts and feelings they received at the seething reality.

Writers of the writers union of the province come down to the spot regularly to guide their creation.

Recently, a poem created by a war veteran, a member of the literary group, was appreciated at the national mass literature prize contest.

Their experience shows well that success can be achieved in mass-based literary production when the literary group is operated in an orderly way in conformity with reality.
