The people and service personnel in the DPRK celebrated the 92nd founding anniversary of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army (KPRA).

Many people visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the sacred temple of Juche where President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il lie in state.

Entering the park at the plaza of the palace, the visitors paid the highest tribute to Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, the founder and builder of the Juche-type revolutionary armed forces and ever-victorious banner.

Civilians and service personnel of the Korean People’s Army visited the statues of the great leaders in different parts of the country to pay deep homage to them.

Many people visited the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong, which implants the noble mental world of the revolutionary forerunners who devoted themselves to the liberation of the country, happiness of the people and victory of the cause of socialism.

Colorful performances were given at theatres in Pyongyang and provinces to celebrate the holiday.

The central art squad for increased production, the art squad of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, the Workers’ Art Group of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, the art squad of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women’s Union of Korea, the railway art squad and mobile artistic motivation teams, the women’s union artistic motivation teams and artistic groups in various districts of the capital city gave performances in various parts of the city.

Performances, given in North Phyongan and Kangwon provinces and Nampho and Kaesong municipalities, sang high praise of the undying feats of the peerlessly great men who defeated the ferocious Japanese and U.S. imperialists in one generation and demonstrated the sovereignty and dignity of the country to the whole world.

Public catering establishments across the country, including the Okryu Restaurant and Chongryu Restaurant, were crowded with visitors. Laughter of happiness of the working people and schoolchildren resounded throughout the Central Zoo, Natural History Museum, etc.
