Meetings of Exemplary UAWK Members Held in DPRK

Meetings of members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK), who distinguished themselves in displaying noble traits, were held in South Phyongan, North Hwanghae, Jagang and South Hamgyong provinces and Nampho and Kaesong municipalities amid the mounting spirit of general offensive for implementing the grand action programme for the comprehensive national rejuvenation.

Present there were officials concerned, officials and members of the UAWK and activists in displaying noble traits in the relevant regions. Reports and speeches were made at the meetings.

Reporters and speakers noted that the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un has put the UAWK on the front rank of implementing the programme for the rural revolution in the new era while paying deep attention to the work of the union in each period and at every stage of the developing revolution.

They said that the General Secretary put forward the agricultural workers as faithful and patriotic persons who always remain true to the intention of the Party and share their destiny with socialism, firmly defend the rural position and safeguard the Party and revolution with increased rice production, and has shown great loving care and benevolence for them.

They noted that the number of paragons of good virtues and traits who devote themselves to society and collective, whether their feats are recognized or not, is increasing among UAWK officials and working people.

They expressed their determination to fully display the stamina of the agricultural workers in the struggle for ushering in the period of comprehensive development of national prosperity by dint of loyalty and patriotism.

They called for adding glory to their worthwhile lives as rural revolutionaries and patriotic agricultural workers of the new era in the on-going general advance for the comprehensive development of socialism under the leadership of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
