It has been 10 years since the Songdowon International Children’s Camp was remodeled splendidly.

The camp is a palace for the children built thanks to the warm care of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who regards the work for posterity as the top priority task of the Party and the state and spares nothing for the rising generations.

The past ten years were unforgettable days when our blessed schoolchildren have firmly prepared as the genuine sons and daughters and juvenile revolutionaries equipped with noble morality and strong body while consolidating their knowledge through the colorful camping activities under the care of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un.

According to data available, more than 95 000 schoolchildren spent happy camping days until now since its rehabilitation.

Among them were the schoolchildren from the unexpected natural disasters-stricken regions in the northern end of the country and the branch schools on islands as well as the orphans of the middle school for orphans, sons and daughters of the officers at the forefront lines and model pupils in study and organizational life.

In those camping period, they conducted colorful camping activities including skill demonstration, quiz program, athletic meeting, etc.

Even now, the enjoyable days in the camp pass along with the song “We are the happiest in the world!”

The happy laughter and delight singing of the schoolchildren spending pleasant times in the Songdowon International Children’s Camp will be reverberated endlessly conveying the great love and care of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un.
