South Phyongan Province pushes ahead with the project for remodeling the Phyongsong Building Materials Factory into a comprehensive finishing building materials production base.

When the project is completed, the production base will massively produce colored mortar, coating materials, filling materials, rails, terrazzo, etc.

Officials in the province organized well the remodeling to finish the project in a short span of time, mindful of the importance of strengthening the foundation of the finishing building materials production in the implementing the Party’s policy on rural development.

Amid great interests of the province, the project has been propelled and now equipment-assembling is brisk on the spot in its final stages.

Meanwhile, the province strives to raise the skills and technology of the workers at the Phyongsong Building Materials Factory and quality of finishing building materials.

Senior officials of the province frequently go to the spot to solve arising problems in time. They also let cities and counties learn after the experience gained in the remodeling project and build their own bases for producing finishing building materials.
