The Sangwon Cement Complex of the DPRK marked its 40th founding anniversary.

The complex is associated with the immortal leadership exploits of Chairman Kim Jong Il, who ensured that it was successfully built and guided the overall work of production and management as its honorary manager. It is a powerful building-material producer and the Party’s most important enterprise as the importance of its position and role are further highlighted and proved, now that the gigantic construction projects for prosperity of the country and the people’s well-being are being simultaneously carried out.

Its workers, technicians and officials have significantly increased production for the past 10 years so as to repay the deep trust of the Party Central Committee which put forward them as frontline soldiers for accomplishing the cause of building a powerful socialist country.

A meeting was held on the spot on April 29 to convey a congratulatory letter from the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) to the workers, technicians and officials of the complex on its 40th founding anniversary.

Present there were Ri Il Hwan, secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, and officials and employees of the complex.

Ri Il Hwan read out the congratulatory letter.

The WPK Central Committee in its congratulatory letter extended warm encouragement and congratulations to the workers, technicians and officials of the complex who have dynamically propelled the bolstering of national power and the development of civilization with signal successes in production, working hard with a great sense of responsibility for defending the important arsenal of the grand socialist construction.
