"Patriotism and youth", a stage of Korean young people who are devoting their pure conscience to the prosperity of the socialist country, was held at the Pyongyang Municipal Youth Park Open-Air Theatre on April 30.

The performers stated that they are working feats in the vanguard of struggle to implement the decisions of the Eighth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the Ninth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK.

The speeches by those who are devoting pure conscience to holding the peerlessly great persons in high esteem forever fully showed the noble ideological and moral traits of the youth in the present era.

The participants were moved by stories about the feats of girl weavers over-fulfilling their national economic plans by running more than 40km every day to provide schoolchildren with better uniforms and bags and of innovators who are making labor successes in difficult and labor-consuming sectors.

They expressed their will to uphold the idea of believing in the people as in Heaven of the great Party Central Committee, saying that the passenger buses, trolley buses and tram cars, all named "Chongnyon Jonwi (youth vanguard)", running along streets of Pyongyang are associated with the mind of the young vanguard to relieve the burden on the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un worrying about traffic convenience for the citizens.

The participants were deeply impressed by the deeds of those who showed wisdom and resourcefulness of the Korean youth in making world-startling scientific research successes and those who displayed beautiful virtues and traits adding to the fragrance of a large socialist family.
