New Houses Built in South Hwanghae Province

New houses have been built at Wolsa and Yongwang farms in Kwail County, South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK amid the continued emergence of fairyland-like villages boasting of socialist rural civilization across the country.

Fruit trees and other trees of good species were planted in the gardens of those houses for several hundred families designed in various forms to preserve the peculiarities of relevant regions and public animal sheds were built in the villages.

A ceremony for moving into new houses took place on the spot on May 2.

Present there were Kim Chol Min, secretary of the South Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials, builders and agricultural workers in Kwail County.

So Hak Song, vice-chairman of the South Hwanghae Provincial People’s Committee, made a congratulatory address.

Licenses for the use of new houses were awarded and speeches were made there.

Amid the playing of cheerful dances, officials congratulated the agricultural workers moving into new houses and shared joy with them.
