Great Trust in Youth

In August, Juche 105(2016), the 9th Congress of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League was held in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, in the presence of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

At the congress the respected General Secretary made a historical speech.

In his speech, he said that our developing motherland calls the young people to the struggle for building the socialist power; and continued that the theaters seething with enthusiasm for compressing time are the living stage of the youth.

That day he stressed that they should set up more monumental structures named in honour of youth on this land by displaying the spirit of moving a mountain and blocking the rough sea in the struggle for socialist construction.

His speech impressed the audience.

The participants, keeping in mind his great trust in them, determined to glorify the youthful days by performing feats in the socialist construction.

Making New History of Giving Priority to Youth

One January day, the respected General Secretary visited the newly-built Youth Movement Museum.

Looking round the museum, he said to accompanying officials that our Party has assigned the young people the important and hard task arising in the construction of powerful country and gave them valuable title of the advancing group, reserves and wing of the Party, the most precious call; and continued that our Party would give importance to the youth problem in the future, too, and channel great efforts to it consistently.

Then he stressed that we should lead the heyday of youth movement to the highest stage of its development, and again, lead it to the continuous highest stage of its development.

Hearing his instructions, the officials said to themselves with confidence that the future of the motherland is endlessly rosy and bright thanks to the respected General Secretary who makes a new history of giving priority to the youth on this land.
