Under the great love of our Party which always pays deep attention to cultural and emotional life of people and schoolchildren the construction of the Pyongyang Puppet Theatre is underway in the downtown of Pyongyang, capital city of the DPRK.

The theatre is designed to suit the characteristics of the puppet theatre; and equipped with a video showing hall of over 200 seats, puppet show room of 400-odd seats and peculiar souvenir stands.

The theatre is to have various places of entertainment.

The design of the Pyongyang Puppet Theatre, being built in a modern way as required by the new century, is associated with the benevolence of the Party which intends to provide our people with better cultural living condition.

The Ministry of Culture promotes the construction of the theatre vigorously.

Several months have passed since the ground breaking of the theatre; however, the builders of the construction station and the Party member shock brigade of the Ministry of Culture have pushed forward with the concrete tamping of building as planned.

Officials and technicians of the construction station thoroughly observe the requirement of design in building.

Thanks to the high spirit and vigorous struggle of the builders the innovative successes are witnessed continuously at the construction site of the Pyongyang Puppet Theatre.
