Shortcut to Building Educational Power

 

The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un set again Juche 107(2018) marking the 70th founding anniversary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea as a year of science and education and visited newly remodeled Pyongyang Teachers Training College in January of that year despite his busy state affairs.

Looking round the college, he gave high appraisal and precious instructions to it.

He said to accompanying officials that in order to build an educational power and talent power, first of all, the teacher camp should be strengthened before improving the educational conditions and environments, stressing that the teachers training institutions should train many able teachers by improving the quality of educational work decisively.

The General Secretary instructed that just as a well-arranged breeding farm can produce good seeds, so powerful and well-arranged teacher training institutions can bring up the able teachers urgently needed in the talent training, adding that there is a shortcut to building the talent power and educational power in strengthening the teacher education.

That day the officials deeply felt why the General Secretary has paid a great attention to the teacher education.

Indeed, his instruction given that day was a precious guideline for the Juche-based education development.

 

Locomotive Leading to Rapid Progress

 

It was one day in late December several years ago.

At that time, the respected General Secretary, sitting together with officials, gave an important instruction to them as regards the work of science and education sector.

While stressing the need to make a great investment in the educational sector and scientific research field, the General Secretary said that big efforts should be directed to building well the educational institutions and scientific research bases and to providing the educators and scientists with good living conditions, and doing so is to look ahead into the future.

The officials were moved looking up to the General Secretary who has paid the deepest attention to developing the education and science and technology directly linked with the destiny of the country.

Continuing that the educational sector and the scientific research sector are the locomotive leading all the sectors of the country to endless rapid progress, he emphasized that only when we firstly repair the locomotive to exert its energy, we can dynamically advance towards the world.

The respected General Secretary is, indeed, the peerlessly great man who has set it as an important strategy of the Party and revolution to attach importance to education, science and technology and brought about a proud reality of making a leap forward by dint of science and guaranteeing the future by dint of education.
