The 2024 Spring Commodity Exhibition in the Pyongyang Underground Shop closed with due ceremony at the shop on May 9.

On display at the exhibition were light industrial goods, foodstuffs and agricultural products peculiar to regions, presented by over 270 units across the country.

During the exhibition, employees of production units in all parts of the country shared and transferred advanced successes and experience with the main emphasis on solving the sci-tech problems for the improvement of quality of consumer goods and the expansion of their varieties.

Goods presented by the Kangwon Provincial People’s Committee, the Unphasan Bag Branch Factory in Phyongsong, the Jangsan Daily Necessities Production Station and other units won a high appreciation as they are various and meet the tastes of consumers.

Attending the ceremony were Vice-Minister of Commerce O Yong Min, officials concerned and officials and workers of the commercial sectors in Pyongyang and provinces and production units.
