The 59th National Schoolchildren’s Art Festival closed with due ceremony at the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren’s Palace in the DPRK on Friday.

At the festival opened to celebrate the significant April holiday, the participants showed the proud appearance of the schoolchildren who are being trained as genuine sons and daughters of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un and dependable pillars for the building of a powerful country.

Pyongyang Municipality came first in total standings at the festival.

After the closing ceremony, there was a presentation of schoolchildren who won a high appreciation at the festival.
