The Control Machine Institute under the State Academy of Sciences in the DPRK marked its 40th founding anniversary.

The proud 40-year history of the institute is associated with the undying feats of the peerlessly great men who devoted themselves to the development of science and technology of the country.

President Kim Il Sung set forth the tasks for developing science and technology in the field of electronics and automation and clearly indicated the orientation and ways for carrying them out.

Chairman Kim Jong Il saw to it that the institute was established in May Juche 73 (1984) and led the machine-building industry to pioneer the latest scientific and technological fields and conduct research in a far-sighted way.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un has shown great loving care and benevolence for the scientists and technicians of the institute, wisely leading the institute to dynamically accelerate the building of a prosperous and powerful country by performing sci-tech successes as a locomotive for socialist construction.

For the past four decades under the care of the peerlessly great men, the institute has turned into a sci-tech force with high-tech development capability and made a positive contribution to putting the national economy on a Juche, modern and scientific basis.

A meeting took place on Friday to mark the 40th founding anniversary of the institute.
