Culture 2024.5.12.

Modern dwelling houses have been built at the Juksan Vegetable Farm in Wonsan City, Kangwon Province of the DPRK, amid the continued emergence of model edifices symbolic of socialist civilization across the country.

The houses, built in a cosy way to preserve the peculiar features of the countryside, reflect the noble loving care of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is working heart and soul to provide the agricultural workers with the most affluent and civilized living conditions and environment.

Trees and beautiful flower shrubs are in full bloom in various parts of the villages where modern houses for hundreds of households have taken their shapes.

A ceremony for moving into the new dwelling houses took place on the spot on Friday.

Present there were Paek Song Guk, chief secretary of the Kangwon Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and officials, builders and agricultural workers in Wonsan City.

Ju Mun Jin, chairman of the Kangwon Provincial People’s Committee, made a congratulatory address. Then the licenses for the use of houses were handed over to be followed by speeches.

Moving into new houses began amid a cheerful dance and officials visited the owners of new houses to congratulate them.
