South Hamgyong Province finished the dry-field irrigation project for this year.

The province formed a commanding force with capable officials and directed great efforts to ensuring conditions for dry-field irrigation project.

Jongphyong, Kumya and Hamju counties turned the irrigation project into the countywide work and aroused masses to carry out the planned tasks in a short period of time.

Those counties provided necessary equipment and materials in time while pushing forward with the production of various accessories by their own efforts.

Officials and working people in Tanchon City, Sinhung and Pukchong counties have striven to hasten the irrigation project. The officials of the areas powerfully aroused masses to performing feats.

The irrigation project has been dynamically propelled in other areas of the province and a hundred and scores of pumping stations were built and other planned tasks were successfully completed. This is another guarantee for minimizing damages from abnormal weather conditions and safe farming.
