One January day in Juche 106(2017), the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the newly-built Pyongyang Bag Factory.

After looking round its sample room that day, he dropped in at the sci-tech learning place and praised that it was also fine.

A little while ago, he learned in detail about the management of the meeting hall and was satisfied that it was arranged well enabling the employees to watch TV and make a study of science and technology after downloading the data from the sci-tech learning space.

His undeserved appraisal made officials of the factory ashamed.

Looking at them wrapped in emotion, the General Secretary stressed the need to operate well the sci-tech learning space.

As the shortcut to making all the people be well-versed in science and technology as soon as possible and hastening the building of a powerful socialist country by dint of science and technology lies in running the sci-tech learning space substantially, the General Secretary paid the deepest attention about that.

After a while, he said that the work for disseminating science and technology is an important one in tempting the producers to participate in the production, possessing high sci-tech ability, and to vigorously wage the mass-based technical innovation movement, speaking with emphasis that the present is an era of science and technology and our-style socialism advances by dint of the entire people equipped with advanced science and technology.

Today, science and technology is not promoted and developed by some scientists and researchers, he noted, adding that everybody should learn while working and, in the course of doing so, they can find out the seeds capable of successfully fulfilling the tasks facing their sectors and positively introducing them into the production, thus contributing to building an economic giant.

And he continued that the work for disseminating science and technology should be conducted as a nationwide one and all the Party committees have to pay due attention to that work which is as important as the production.

Listening to him, the officials were impressed.

Reflected in his instruction given that day was the deep meaning that all the sectors should regard it as a vital issue decisive of success and failure in all the affairs to disseminate science and technology.

Science and technology hold sway over the development of all the sectors in the country and the height and speed of the overall social development depend on the level of the sci-tech development.

Therefore, wherever the General Secretary visits, he regards the sci-tech dissemination work as important as the production and gives precious instructions about it.

Keeping in mind his noble intention, the officials made up their minds to make bigger success in the production by briskly conducting the sci-tech dissemination work.
