Sacred and Worthwhile Struggle
One January day in Juche 107(2018), the respected General Secretary
Accompanying officials were surprised at his saying.
They could feel that the General Secretary was so anxious about the promotion of people’s health that he put much effort into the factory.
They were ashamed of themselves for recollecting their working attitude as they directed efforts to remodeling the buildings and raising the proportion of localization of equipment only; they worked with shortsighted insight, failing to set a high target for modernizing the factory in all aspects in keeping with the international standard.
After a while, the General Secretary stressed that the remodeling of the Pyongyang Pharmaceutical Factory was not a businesslike matter, but a sacred and worthwhile campaign for promoting the people’s health and making them experience the advantage of socialist public health system and the policy of the Workers’ Party of Korea, not in words or letters.
Listening to his instructions, the officials determined to devote themselves to the sacred and worthwhile struggle for the people true to the noble intention of the General Secretary.
Lest They Feel Inconvenience
The following happened when the respected General Secretary visited a foodstuff factory.
Dropping in at its combined control room, he, pointing to a lower part of the control table, asked an official what was in it.
Being told about it, the respected General Secretary moved the chair close to the table and measured something.
All the accompanying officials could not know the reason.
After a while, he said that one sitting at such a desk for a long time would have a pain in legs.
He considered at once that the controllers worked sitting in an inconvenient position as the lower part of table was enclosed.
That day he said that the table should be replaced with other or the upper board of table be expanded toward controller’s side.
The officials received a great shock.
Because many people including the officials of the factory inspected this room; however nobody sensed that the controllers could feel inconvenience.
But the respected General Secretary, during his inspection, considered the inconvenience and let them rectify the shortcomings.
Indeed, this is a touching story born by ardent love of the respected General Secretary who gives top priority to the people’s interests and convenience and always pays deep attention to realizing it.
