The Chongsan Farm in Kangso District, Nampho Municipality of the DPRK, finished the rice-transplantation on main farm fields by its own efforts.

Farmers of the crop-raising workteam No. 3 in the field of glory where Chairman Kim Jong Il personally transplanted rice seedlings have increased the utilization of new-type nutritive rice-transplanting machines and thus transplanted rice seedlings in fields every day.

Several workteams have also set the order of rice-transplanting properly and arranged the inter-process cooperation carefully, ensured the number of plants per phyong and the number per plant, and transplanted rice seedlings in the fields.

The mechanized workteam concluded the repair and maintenance of farm machines in a short span of time and gave precedence to tilling and harrowing paddy fields, thus contributing to finishing the rice-transplanting in a qualitative way.

The agricultural workers of the farm are conducting the water control of paddy fields in a scientific and technological way and directing efforts to cultivating the earlier crops.
