Organizations of the Socialist Women’s Union of Korea (SWUK) briskly conduct the work for modeling after the noble spirit of communist mothers put forth by the Workers’ Party of Korea.
The Central Committee of the SWUK unfolds organizational and political work to let all the women be aware of the mission and duty they assume before their families and society, and the times and the revolution, bring the harmony of the socialist large family into full bloom and make genuine contributions to the overall prosperity and development of our state.
The Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the SWUK tries to implant in the masses’ minds the ideas and spirit of the important speech made by the respected Comrade
A meeting was held at the Pyongyang Municipal Youth Park Open-air Theatre to congratulate students from several senior middle schools in the city, who volunteered for military service at first-line posts,and their parents.
The meeting was a significant occasion which taught mothers and children that the happiness and future of the family are guaranteed by the country and that they should assist the army and do military service invariably.
The SWUK organizations in North and South Hamgyong provinces and Nampho Municipality see to it that several occasions like the meeting with awardees of the Communist Mother Honor Prize become a process of inspiring their members with patriotism.
Those in Kangwon Province and Kaesong Municipality widely introduce the experiences of mothers who have brought up excellent sons and daughters so that mothers would fulfill their responsibility as constant educators and teachers of their children.
Suit is followed by the SWUK organizations in South Hwanghae and Ryanggang provinces.
