The Pukchang Area Youth Coal Mining Complex in the DPRK has made achievements in tunneling.

The complex has secured fields with a deposit of hundreds of thousands of tons of coal to open up a bright prospect for increased coal production.

The complex organizes tunneling contests in areas rich in deposits and with good mining conditions to secure a large coal fields in a short span of time. Meanwhile, it has popularized the advanced drilling and blasting methods created during the contests to the coal mines so that the flames of creating new standard and new records are raging.

Coal mines are organizing tunneling to suit the actual conditions of the units and directing efforts to providing necessary equipment, materials, accessories and small tools.

In the course, many units are carrying out their tunneling plans ahead of schedule.
